Overview
Ripple Treasury’s enhanced cross-browser support for modern browsers such as Chrome and Microsoft Edge will allow most users to use these browsers most of the time.
When using a modern browser, users can take advantage of server-side processing and HTML 5 technology to enjoy:
Faster performance when processing deals, generating reports, etc.
Seamless navigation transition between Cash & Payments modules and Financial Instruments & Risk modules.
The benefits of the new Reports Queue
Better stability and memory utilization.
Users will be able to use Chrome or Edge to use the following screens:

Some, less used, screens still require you to use Internet Explorer. These are mostly administrative or set up screens and the user will be prompted the below when this is the case:

Screens and Deal Types that still require Internet Explorer will be flagged with the Internet Explorer icon.

These icons will not appear in Internet Explorer.
Chrome and Edge use HTML 5 screens and Internet Explorer uses Silverlight screens. When a user is in Internet Explorer they will see a mixture of HTML 5 and Silverlight screens and when they are in Chrome or Edge they will see only HTML 5 versions of those screens.
There are some differences in how each version will display and operate. Deal screens, for example, may come with a Calculate button in HTML 5 to speed up recalculation.
New features on existing deal types are only available in modern browsers. For example, the Reset Floor on Loan/Deposit is only available in a modern browser. If you create a Loan/Deposit with a Reset Floor in Chrome or Edge you cannot change it in Internet Explorer.

HTML 5 Grids and Reports will have the following differences:
The maximum page size is 500 rows. There is no “All” option in HTML 5.
Copy to Clipboard copies the currently displayed page so use the “Items per page” to limit the number of pages to be copied.
The controls for filtering, sorting and managing columns are now in the header rows. View Management, Grouping and Column Totals functions are unchanged.

Filtering for multiple Deal IDs can be achieved using “Contains” and a comma separated list
(1).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-08T02%3A32%3A03Z&se=2026-10-08T02%3A45%3A03Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=JphNoWSuz02j7SpKhuPxK2e%2BmtfjNMvWYvGy5HN87NA%3D)
Some Grids and Reports support CheckBox Filtering on selected fields.
Please note that, initially, filtering on one field does not limit the filtering options on other fields (as it does in IE).
(2).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-08T02%3A32%3A03Z&se=2026-10-08T02%3A45%3A03Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=JphNoWSuz02j7SpKhuPxK2e%2BmtfjNMvWYvGy5HN87NA%3D)
The Grids and Reports that support this filtering are:
Portfolio Grid
Accruals Report
MTM
Deal Report
Deal Approvals
All Grids and Reports will support Expand All / Collapse All on grouped Grids and Reports. The +/- control expands or collapses the group.

Filtering on Custom Fields has not been enabled in all grids and reports.
The Reports Queue functionality is only available in Chrome or Edge.
The Hedge Templates functionality is only available in Chrome or Edge.
Users will find that there are less memory errors because Chrome and Edge are better at handling memory and are optimized for HTML 5.

FAQ
I can log on, but I cannot list directories/see directories/exchange files when using Ripple Treasury SFT. What is wrong?
Most likely, the required data ports are being blocked through a firewall between your FTP client and the Ripple Treasury SFT resources. You will need to contact your internal IT to resolve this issue, or, alternatively, try using the recommended SFTP protocol.
Can I have subfolders created when using Ripple Treasury SFT?
No, Ripple Treasury SFT is strictly a mechanism for exchanging files between the TMS and the user, and as such, the only necessary folders are a <toRippleTreasury> folder and a <fromRippleTreasury> folder.
When this question arises, it usually is from a concern about files which are not named uniquely in order to delineate between other files and/or file types. The reason we require unique filenames is to simplify storage as well as facilitate maintenance, support, and security.
We understand that it may take effort on your end to assign unique, intuitive names to your files; however, it is to your advantage in the long run to do so. We follow the same policy on our end, and if we both do so, both parties are ensured reliable and accurate transfer of individual files to and from Ripple Treasury SFT. To ensure proper file handling for all our clients, there are no exceptions to this policy.
