Purpose
Ripple Treasury deploys software releases 13 times per year to all our SaaS clients. The schedule can be found in Current product release notes and schedule. This process allows us to stay up with industry changes, produce enhancements, and make other updates related to our application.
Timing
Most deployments are seamless to the end-user. Very little preparation is required, as most updates are performed at the server level which becomes fairly transparent to the user. The updates are thoroughly tested by our Quality Assurance teams. The tests include full regression and vulnerability testing to ensure all aspects of the system work correctly with the new updates and enhancements.
Software release deployments are routinely completed during our contracted maintenance windows. The maintenance window is during scheduled downtime:
The time between 6:00 pm on Saturday until 10:00 pm on the following Sunday for your server timezone stated in your Master Agreement.
Other times Ripple Treasury designates with at least 24 hours’ notice. We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep downtime to only the regularly scheduled time described above.
Alerts and supporting documentation
Clients are notified about any software updates via email and an in-app alerts. Release Notes are published for review 7 days prior to any deployment. After deployment, the release notes are added to the Current product release notes and schedule. Supplemental documents on the release content are also published in our Ripple Treasury in-app Help Center.
