This policy applies to all Ripple Treasury equipment including desktop computers, laptop computers, and servers that are connected to either the Ripple Treasury office network, the Rackspace network or any Azure environment, owned and/or controlled by Ripple Treasury.
All machines in scope must have Ripple Treasury's standard, supported anti-virus software installed and running on an ongoing basis. In addition, the anti-virus software and the virus definition files must be regularly updated. IT is responsible for creating procedures that ensure anti-virus software is running as required, and that devices are verified as virus-free. Any activities with the intention to create and/or distribute malicious programs into Ripple Treasury's networks (e.g., viruses, worms, Trojan horses, e-mail bombs, etc. ) are prohibited, in accordance with the Acceptable Use Policy.
Any machine connecting to the Ripple Treasury network must have up-to-date anti-virus in place.
