This policy is in place to ensure the safety and security of Ripple Treasury employees, its visitors, its assets and to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to Ripple Treasury offices.
Visitors
A visitor is defined as any non-Ripple Treasury employee which includes building maintenance personnel and consultants.
Ripple Treasury implements several physical security mechanisms to protect its personnel, network, business, and data from damage or loss due to unauthorized access. Controlled building access and secure access to the server room is enforced through the administration of cards. Access is reviewed on a quarterly basis and signed-off on by management.
Access to the server room is restricted based upon role. Access is reviewed on a quarterly basis and signed-off on by management.
Visitors to Ripple Treasury check-in before being granted access to the facility. All visitors are required to check-in via the Visitor Log, which is retained for 12 months. Visitors are escorted while on premises, unless an exemption has been granted by management.
Closed circuit video surveillance has been installed at entrance points within all Ripple Treasury office locations.
When physical access is no longer needed, physical access is disabled within the timeframe specified within internal policies.
Delivery Personnel
Delivery personnel (i.e., UPS, Federal Express, etc.) will be permitted to make deliveries to the appropriate areas without a badge or pass provided they do not go outside normal areas of pickup or delivery.
Access Records
The Ripple Treasury Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) system records all activity in the entrance points within the Ripple Treasury offices. Ripple Treasury can download and store any taped information that may be needed for future reference. This footage will be retained for review as necessary. If there is an unusual event, it will be brought to the attention of the Security & Compliance team and IT for possible additional action.
